For a New Liberty Pipeline
The 2024 edition of Notes From FEE, including three new articles by me
The 2024 edition of Notes From FEE, the Foundation for Economic Education's magazine for supporters, was published digitally yesterday in PDF format. It includes three new articles by me announcing such exciting developments as:
The upcoming return of The Freeman as a Substack publication under the editorship of my co-author and colleague Katrina Gulliver
FEE’s return to multi-day seminars, starting with last summer’s Active Minds conference (which I designed the curriculum for and which was sponsored by the Prometheus Foundation) and continuing with our upcoming “FEE Bootcamps”)
The major impact of our fellowship programs, as indicated by a recent New York Times story featuring several FEE-trained influencers.
The issue also includes an article by Kerry McDonald about her exciting new Education Entrepreneurship Lab at FEE and a thoughtful piece by Tyler Brandt about the spiritual side of Leonard Read.
All of these pieces build on the lead article by our new president, Diogo Costa presenting his inspiring strategic vision for FEE, which is to build a “liberty pipeline” that will cultivate what our founder Leonard Read said the freedom philosophy needs most of all: a vanguard of knowledgable, principled, and persuasive thought leaders, or as Read put it “several thousand creative thinkers, writers, talkers... from all walks of life who will serve as wellsprings of the philosophy.”
Thanks to Jackson Watkins for the graphic design and to Courtney Franklin for “Courtneyating” it all!
